Attorney Hubert Johnson Sr. was admitted to the Idaho Bar in September of 2007, the California bar in November 2008, and to the United States Bankruptcy Court Eastern District of California in 2009. Mr. Johnson received his Juris Doctorate from University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law in 2007, graduating in the top 50% of his class and participated as a volunteer Bi-Lingual Spanish tutor for local high school students.
Mr. Johnson received his Bachelors of Arts in Social Sciences from California State University, Sacramento in 2004 graduating summa cum laude. At CSU Sacramento he participated in the AMUN (American Model UN) Chicago Conference in 2003 at which the CSU Sacramento team received honors for the best team and the most awards.
After being admitted to the Idaho bar, Mr. Johnson worked as a City Prosecutor through 2008. He conducted seven jury trials and numerous bench trials. Mr. Johnson handled multiple courtrooms and a demanding schedule while representing victims and the State of Idaho.
Mr. Johnson then returned to California and from 2009 to 2011 he worked as a Tax Attorney specializing in tax-debt resolutions, practicing before the Internal Revenue Service. Through the Offer in Compromise program Mr. Johnson saved his clients over 2 million dollars in IRS debt. Mr. Johnson has handled IRS and debts with the California Franchise Tax Board for businesses and individuals.
Currently Mr. Johnson is currently working for the Law Offices of Bowman and Associates, APC handling employment law, landlord tenant issues, and family law.
Mr. Johnson lived abroad in Peru for two years as a missionary and is fluent in Spanish. He enjoys coaching soccer and little league with his children and is a Webelos den leader for Cub Scouts. Mr. Johnson enjoys sports and the outdoors.
